F U, 96.5 the Buzz!!!

I will now be boycotting 96.5 the Buzz -- i have already removed them from my speed dial and replaced them, sadly, with classic country -- because they fired their best DJ, Jason Ulanet. In fact, Jason was their ONLY good DJ.

There's no way i can support a station that fires Jason, yet still employs Afentra and Lazlo. Terrible, just terrible.

Time to invest in satellite radio, my friend. I cannot listen to commercial, over the air radio and the last time I even bothered with 96.5 was probably 10 years ago. Totally worth the investment.

I have strongly considered satellite radio... I like listening to the "Lithium" channel and whatever the name of their alternative channel is...

BUT... I had a rental car on my most recent business trip, and it was equipped with Sirius radio... and I noticed that over the course of the four days, I started hearing the same songs on station over and over again.

Then I was driving with my sister the other day, she has satellite radio... and she groaned and said, "Man, some of these stations are starting to really repeat songs..."

I think I'll rely on CDs for a while. Also, Adro's car has a MP3 player on it... how does that work? Copy J, are you out there? Can I somehow cram 800 songs on one disc? Because that would be cool...

Btw, I like how my headline is "F U!" yet I still use a cute photo of Evey...

Does Adro's car have an input jack (I don't remember seeing it from the back seat...)? If so, you just need a cord to connect with your iPod. Pretty easy, we love having that in Trish's car.

No, sadly, Adro's car does not have a jack to connect an iPod... one of the few things I don't like about her Tucson.

When I won my fantasy football league -- Neuty, you may remember, it was 2008 -- I used that money to put a new stereo in my Camaro, and I got one had that an iPod jack, and yeah, I LOVE IT.

I use the old school fake tape connected to the head phones jack wire... plugged into the headphone jack of the ipod, and instant ipod in the car through the tape deck.
Don't have a tape deck...? You must be from the future!

Solo, I must admit, I hadn't thought of the tape deck with the chord... we do have a tape deck.

USEFUL...!

It's the problem with radio stations: even the best ones start to repeat stuff after a while, usually just a few days. Hopefully they're good songs, at least.

I have the tape adapter to hook up my iPod in my truck but I could easily be swayed to get an adapter, if it was easy and cheap.
