We were in southern Missouri when the Joplin tornado hit, visiting Adro's family (Alan's side.)
We had to wake up Evey from a nap so we could sit in the hotel hallway for an hour while the tornado sirens went off. Joplin was hit, then the same storm blew through where we were 40 minutes later.
No tornado, but it was spooky. And I'm not just talking about Evelyn's hair.
