Head boo-boo

Apparently Evey got a bump on her head somehow... and she wanted a band-aid on it, even though it wasn't bad. So Adro obliged, and slapped a big Dora band-aid right on her forehead, much to Evey's pleasure. Photos below...

Man, forget the band-aid...WHAT'S WITH THE JESUS SHIRT?!?!?!?!?

Emery does that. Any little bump or bruise and he is begging for an band aid for his "owie". He got something in his eyes once and wanted me to put a band aid on them.

Top ten responses for Neuty, off the top of my head:

1. You do know that Jesus was a man, right? He had a beard!

2. You're drunk again?

3. Do we need to get a screener to approve your comments before they go up? Maybe a second opinion before you hit "publish comment"? These are probably good ideas.

4. (Shaking head in disbelief.)

5. I don't know if you recall, but the big building you went to the day me and Adro got married? That was a church... a CATHOLIC CHURCH.

6. Yeah, she had spilled juice on her Satan T-shirt earlier that day.

7. Do we really need to have this conversation?

8. I figured you'd be more bothered by the Denver Broncos diaper she's wearing...

9. (Shaking head in disbelief part 2)

10. Finally, a serious answer: Yeah, that's her Our Lady of Guadalupe T-Shirt. She really loves that shirt, and calls it by name, "Guadalupe!" As you probably know, both me and Adro are half-Mexican. The Lady of Guadalupe is probably the most beloved symbol of Mexican Catholics. I'm not the strongest Catholic in the world, but the Lady of Guadalupe is something I really respect and even have a sense of pride in. Growing up in a Mexican family, it's just something that you always know about. Evey will get the same treatment as we did, growing up with Guadalupe around!

OK, thanks for the laugh, Neuty. I knew I could depend on you to bring the T-shirt up!

Ah, good to know. Obviously I'm not very devout (or sober, or attentive, or.......)!

Thanks for the lesson in Mexican Catholicism. Very cool that you impart that to Evey.

Lastly, no offense intended - hopefully none received!
