It was probably the best day I've had in a long, long time.
We took Evey to the zoo for the first time ever. Went to the Topeka zoo. We all had a good time. The weather was perfect (on Saturday). The zoo wasn't crowded.
Best part of the zoo -- check out the silverback gorilla climbing over our heads. At first, he was staring down Adro and Evey, next thing we know, he's climbing over the glass tunnel we're in! I got a few photos, it was pretty wild.

Dude, the Omaha zoo is COMPLETELY worth the trip there. Monkey house is outside, the aquarium is overhead (feeding time is beautiful) and the College World Series is played right next door.
Those gorilla shots are super cool. (and it's odd how much he resembles Brad)
