Coronavirus pandemic

  • So yeah, the COVID-19 pandemic. Crazy, huh? We hope you're well.
  • The Joneses are doing well, thanks. Everyone is feeling fine. Well, some seasonal sneezing (or screaming, for one of us) and some awful toots (let's not get personal here, as to whom) but otherwise good!
  • You would think I'd post more here on the blog, during the pandemic, but no... we've been busy, crazy busy at work. And I've been self-medicating in the evenings.
  • Watched Knives Out tonight. It was good! We all liked it and we all watched it, so that was cool. Other than some strong language in places, it was fine for the 2nd (or 3rd?) grader in the room and he didn't lose interest. Evey and Adro enjoyed it and there was a lot of discussion afterwards.
  • How about that wind on Saturday? 50 mph at times. The weather has been weird. That's not very helpful right now. A little nice weather would be welcomed, and I'm a guy who enjoys rainy days.
  • The kids have been great during these stay-at-home days. Helpful and considerate. It's an interesting age for both kids, and doubly interesting when I ask myself how they'll recall these days.
  • The jukebox has been getting some extra attention these last few weeks. Some new music is now available. Including: Dinosaur Jr., Oasis, Air, U2. ...too bad you're not invited over to hear it for a while...
  • Jayhawks would be in the Final Four right now, if you ask me.
  • I bought a flattop grill! So far so good. Breakfasts have been especially delicious. Details and pics eventually.
Q: What do you call it when someone gets coronavirus twice?
A: Dos Equis.

This one hit Grandma Judy's funny bone just right, but it helped that I had the perfect set-up. That story eventually, maybe.
