Blue light special

Here are the kids this last weekend in Mission, Texas, at the Riverside Club. We were there to attend Alex and Emily's wedding (Adro's little brother.)

Kids were awesome all trip! 15+ hours coming and going, and never a single dispute, fight, disagreement, anything.

You know what? It was pretty good. Despite the slow service and lack of beer OR margaritas! 

We're back in Mission. We might be on a mission. 

Highlight of the night was picking up a pack of UNO at Walmart. Guess who won 4-3-0-0???

Sorry girls! And Dad takes the crown! Whooooo!!!

Christmas in review

It was a crazy Christmas but a good one. We spent Dec 25 in Mission, Texas. Went and visited Alan. It was 80 degrees out! I spent a lot of time on his patio, watching sports. 

The kids handed out gifts, and had fun opening.

After we got home we celebrated again on Jan. 1st with my sister and her kids and Judy. We watched the Chiefs game (loss to Cincy) then ate a Mexican feast! I made chicken tortilla soup; Sis made enchiladas; Judy made tostadas. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

Then we all went downstairs and did another gift exchange. We all got some really thoughtful gifts!

At the end of the party we played Throw Throw Burrito. It was hilarious! Marina won it all.
