An exciting thing happened here at the house recently... we got a new back deck!
I could go on and on about our previous deck, and my overall disdain for it. Just a lousy back deck for an otherwise beautiful back yard, and a beautiful house.
Well, Adrianne saw it too. And she went into action and created the design for our new deck! When she told me about her vision, I was like — OH, YEAH!
And the results are here. We're so excited for the weather to get better. I'm going to cook on this deck, read on this deck, star watch on this deck. Even Koko loves it, and she's like, 'What happened out here?!?'
The HOJ just shivered because it realized... that back deck offers something I can't... class, and privacy.
I'm hopeful to host you there soon. Maybe we drink a vodka gimlet? I don't know, we'll figure it out. There will still be music, guaranteed.
